In the backyard of the Pacific Northwest, the woods welcome all comers, young and old. And in the spring time, the radiant greens and blooming flowers tell a story of an innocence and vulnerability that’s still resilient and good, perfectly balanced, as everything should be. The woods are also known tell other stories, too, of folklore and fairy tales. This mythical forest is no stranger to magic, but there are some parts of the forest where the sun doesn’t shine. And there are streams that flow backwards, too.

Emily and Cody, brother and sister are young at heart and body, when they enter their kingdom, The flowers and trees bow to them in welcome. But when they wander too far, they stumble upon an old, shabby cabin that barely stands. Being curious children, they enter without fear and play as long as their imagination allows them, or until a visitor comes home to rest. Cody thinks quickly and hides himself and his little sister from a dark-robed transient. Cody can’t feel sad for the old hag covered in warts and wrinkles. But their hidden spot doesn’t work forever. The old woman comes towards the closet when…

Horace wakes up to his beautiful wife, Dot, standing over him as he’s slumped over in their hallway closet. Almost immediately Horace forgets what he was dreaming about, when his wife exclaims it’s been the third time he’s been sleepwalking that week. But to Horace it felt so real. Unable to recall much of his childhood, he goes on about his life. But the lack of memories begin to eat at him. He starts digging into his past, and finds out he never had a sister. Then who were those kids from his dream? Horace starts to see that things aren’t making sense and that maybe he’s running out of time.
